For Lipsky restaurant we created the concept of interior - microwold renewal in cooperation with Fedoriv agency. The main task of the project was to save the existing and well known classical mood and fill it with new content at the same time. The main concept is based on combination of classic and modern, natural as a symbol of something old and urban as an image of the newness.
The space idea of the whole object is representing the natural landscapes - hills, on which Kyiv city is situated and that’s why the whole facade is turning into the entirely green relief. As a visual extension of facade, natural green is also added to the hall interior, after that the space is filled with simple and laconic lines of white concrete on walls, floor and ceiling. This illustrates the idea of contrast between urban, modern relief and old hills of Kyiv city.

Moving into the next hall, classical elements combine with modern laconic furniture lines. The geometric element, which contrasts with classical wooden walls panels is brass grill zone.
The simplicity of concrete lines is followed in the next hall too. The old fireplace is kept, but because of the glass box it looks like the museum exhibit. Also, classical space interior includes huge canvases with modern art.

Special detail, which gives the space a certain elegancy and «museum like» feeling is the presentation of wine funeral showcase. Framed with brass, it looks as if it hangs in the space, while wine bottles, hanged on the thin brass tubes look as an art creation.
